With the rhythms of Bo Diddly, the energy of The Trashmen, and the joy of the B-52s, The Surfin’ Birds have been tearing up the south coast of England ever since frontman Paul Sharod invited his brother, Liam on to drum over ten years ago.
Now, joined by electrifying newcomer and bassist, Bobbie Sparks, the trio’s energetic live shows and a nomination for Best Live Band in Dorset have secured them a reputation as an act not to be missed.
Following turbulent years and a multitude of false starts, the band, with their homegrown studio, are finally laying down the high-octane tracks that have won over audiences from Penzance to Stockholm.
From hardcore Americana to the limits of psychedelic sound and alternative rock-pop, their vibrant riffs and infectious rhythms are the heart and soul of every release.
